The Blender Girl Will Join Jeff Davis In The Kitchen To Share Green Food Ideas.
If you don’t know about Tess Masters, and her popular recipe blog, Healthy Blender Recipes, here is one of the top green food tips of the year! Tess’s alter-ego, The BlenderGirl writes a quirky vegetarian recipe blog sharing simple healthy recipes made with whole foods.
All of the recipes can be made quickly in a blender, mixer or food processor; and they are all sugar free. If you are looking for delicious raw recipes, vegan recipes, and allergy free recipes you are in luck. All of the recipes are gluten free; and many are dairy free, egg free, nut free and soy free. You can easily search for recipes for specific food allergies by using the handy icons.
Tess also shares her wealth of knowledge about green living and whole foods in her green food glossary and how to pages. Honestly, you could get lost learning on this incredible website for hours!
Tess will be joining me in the kitchen to do a series of videos sharing some of her amazing vegetarian recipes, vegan recipes, and raw recipes. I am really excited.
But, in the mean time, here is Tess’s favourite green go green smoothie to get us started.
Raw Vegan Tropical Green Smoothie
- 4 cups organic spinach
- 2 cups organic fresh or frozen mango
- 2 medium organic bananas
- 2 cups organic coconut water
- 1 cup ice cubes (optional if you use fresh mango)
- 1/4 inch small cube of organic creamed coconut (optional)
- Throw all your ingredients into your blender (I like to use a Vitamix) and puree until smooth and creamy.

You can follow Tess on Twitter @theblendergirl and @tessmasters, and join in the quirky conversation on her Facebook Page.
I can’t wait to make some more delicious recipes and learn great green food tips with Tess.
