In my continuing efforts to find great new products that are free from harmful chemicals, and that are manufactured by companies that go the extra green mile by being eco-friendly and fair traded I will be highlighting some lines that are making some beautiful products

Charcoal Face Mask

for your face and body that adhere to the eco-friendly lifestyle.

CZ Wick & Suds is in the spotlight this week.  CA Wick & Suds offers an array of products from beautiful handmade soaps to a lovely line of vegan products.  You can see the full line of CA Wick & Suds products on their website.

A few recommendations to get started – the vegan Avocado and Shea Butter Body Cream  to keep your summer skin soothed and looking amazing or you may want to try the Neem Oil Bar with it’s anti-inflammatory and anti-fungal properties. It is one of their best sellers.

One of CZ Wick & Suds products that really got my attention is the design your own lip balm.  You can choose your wax; organic bees wax, vegan candallila or carnuba wax, then you choose your butter, mango butter or coffee butter are just two of the fab choices.  It is truly a custom lip balm and at $4.00 or 3/$11.00, it is a deal.  CZ Wick & Suds also has a lip exfoliator to help remove dead skin cells and keep your pucker kissable.

See the extensive line of  cold pressed and glycerin soaps that are so colorful and pretty you’re sure to want more than one.

Trying to be eco-beautiful just got a little easier with CZ Wick & Suds.

An update on a story I did a few months back on Gabby Wild and her 12 for 12 in 12 campaign. (Gabby’s eco-friendly initiative to bring awareness to endangered species by wearing one outfit a month for an entire year.)  April’s endangered animal is the Ganges River Dolphin and the designer for the outfit is Kristin Haskins Simms, creator of Strange Fruit clothing, and a Season 8 contestant on Project Runway.

The outfit is made of stretch lycra, organic cotton, and recycled brass.
The  Ganges River dolphin is extremely unique:
- It is one of four obligate fresh water dolphins
- It is the national aquatic animal of Indian
- It is funtionctionally blind, as it does not possess lenses on its eyes in order to see!
Proceeds raised for the dolphin are being given to the Zoological Society of London’s EDGE of Existence Programme to save the dolphin from extinction.  You can see all the incredible work Gabby is doing on her website - www.gabbywild.com.

Gabby is a wonderful example of how to be  eco-beautiful.
