T Anyone?

I live in some variation of a t-shirt just about year around, winter – long sleeve, black or dark grey, round or turtleneck underneath a jacket or sweater.  Spring, white or light grey, 3/4 length, ballerina, v or boatneck.  Summer – tank top in any color I can find. Fall –  you get the picture.  I have worn tees for all kinds of occasions even under my business suits instead of a fussy blouse. They are comfortable, washable = no dry cleaning bill  (I won’t even discuss the environmental impact  of dry cleaning this week),  and a really great tee looks casually chic.  So along comes Stewart + Brown, the dynamic duo of Karen Stewart & Howard Brown, and they start making tees that are well, exceptional.  I’m thinking how many can I order before I’m considered an online shopping stalker?

The Stewart + Brown company has been a pioneer for the sustainable fashion movement since 2002 and they have been on the green road with their low environmental impact policies ever since.  Take a look at their website here and don’t miss Karen’s sketch page, she is a very talented artist.  See one of her works below.

Stewart + Brown t-shirts are phenomenal, details like raw edges, contrasting stitching, and ruching, the fabric is soft , organic cotton and they are made in the good ol’ USA. The tees are  very layerable, the lengths are great, if you’ve got the gams you could wear many of the styles as minis and the colors, I am loving the emerald green.

I can’t quit looking at it, could it be my new neutral?  There is a little sexy something  going on with the Stewart+Brown tee line, maybe that is why they called it Essensuals.  Perfect name for perfect tees.

Tee-zernext week check back for a full on view of the Stewart + Brown f/w 2011 green fashion collection.

Be eco-friendly.
